ART LAB

YO YO...what it dewski!!! The Hambloggggggggerman is coming at you today because CREATIVITY is with us!!! I had a chance recently to go and check out a local Art Gallery/Collective the other night that goes by the name ARTLAB. Its located up on 35th and Adams. This place is real COOL. It was hella crowded at the show that I went too but I was still able to catch some pictures that I wanted to share with the space travelers that have found there way onto  this corner of the  HAMBLOGGGOSPHERE!!

The show that was going on consisted of many artists. In the back of the gallery there was a live band playing and folks selling craft...Check out this fresh flask that I got from an artist by the name of PANCHO.

Im gonna have fill this thing up with some tea or something and hit the block like WHOA!!!!

One artist that was shining most intensely at the show was a guy by the name of Roger Penny. Roger has obviously spent many o day behind the brush. His pieces are detailed, colorful, big, provoking, masterful works of art that highlight the architecture of the female body and the surealism of our daily experience. I was stuck on his work for most of the night and have since gone back to further enjoy this exhibit.  The way that he maneuvers the paints, offers shading and dimensions that seem to create more then one point of view in the same picture. The effect of this is seriously mind altering.

 In his exploration of the Female Body he has seemingly employed similar methods as those used in designing the SPHINX.  Once I realized this the importance of this work became for real.  It made me think about what type of drawings were going into making the Egyptian Sphinx and Pyramids. I would imagine there drafting rooms were filled with drawings that were similar to Rogers. While standing there looking at his painting I felt the fabric of time was becoming illuminated right in front of me. This feeling was also MIND ALTERING.

This picture above does not do justice to the awesomeness of this sculpture. It is life size and throughout the inside there are stairwells going from the bottom to the top as well as balconies on each floor level.  If you were 1 inch tall you could seriously live in her like a castle. This piece is absolutely amazing and If I were you I would go to the ARTLAB today and check it out immediately.

I also ran into this cat by the name of CHARLIE APPLESAUCE out side the gallery . Dude was hella cool and rockin a boom box. He pretty much summed up the night with his friendly demeanor and love for art. Keep doing your thing Charlie!!!

Libyan Rebel Leader Killed by Libyan Rebel a.k.a. LIBYAN REBELS TURN TO CULTURAL CANNIBALISM

"The longer the war drags on, the further eastern Libya appears to slip into lawlessness, raising questions about what kind of Libya could emerge if Gaddafi goes." Reports Rania El Gamal, who is covering the African Conflict for Rueters.  This is in response to the news that Abdel Fattah Younes,who is a leader of the "Libyan Rebels" had been assassinated by a person from within their organization. You know that rebel organization, known as The Transitional National Council  that "The United States, which like some 30 other nations has formally recognized."


Really though does this surprise anybody? The T.N.C. is admitted Al Qaeda, This is who my representative in Congress felt it necessary to BACK UP so as to maintain a free and prosperous Libya. This is who the President of my Country sees fit to replace Gaddafi and a cause he is so dedicated to he will go back on his oath to the Constitution and thus the people of his country!! Are these Adults really this STUPID???? 


Of course they are not this stupid. Al Qaeda is a group that was originally created by the  C.I.A  to fight the Russians. They are now being used by to fight Gaddafi.  Just look at the plush treatment they got after 9/11 when they were taxied out of Afghanistan before the U.S.A  (Land of the Free) used depleted uranium and other exotic weaponry on the people there. Even though the reason given to the American public for us invading Afghanistan was that Al Qaeda was nesting there, we literally flew them out. 

And just in case you start feeling lucky don't forget they have also been used as a tool against the American People.

Charles Monnet was told by the "federal agency where he that he was on leave pending the results of an investigation into "integrity issues." CHARLIE, if i may, is known for his work  as "one of the scientists whose observation that several polar bears had drowned in the Arctic Ocean helped galvanize the global warming movement."  I WONDER WHAT EVER HIS CRIME OF IMMORALITY COULD BE??

Perhaps something to do with this FORBES article that says that new/old NASA SATELLITE DATA proves that the global warming alarmist, RIGGED,peer reviewed, computer models are, as we already knew, in fact WRONG.  And that the Earth is doing just fine releasing access heat when its necessary and that CARBON DIOXIDE has a far less impact on  the CLIMATE THEN THEIR FANCY COMPUTERS had predicted, INCORRECTLY PREDICTED I might add.



Here is an article which in they claim the new data simply "makes the skeptics feel good, it irritates the mainstream climate science community, but by this point, the debate over climate policy has nothing to do with science,"  "It's essentially a debate over the role of government," This sounds a bit extreme to me doesn't it? Is the debate on the science really over? I smell a bit of willful arrogance in this remark. It would be a sad thing for one to let their ego take them out of the game like this.

The truth is the debate is very much on and crackin. Let us not forget that CO2 "exists in Earth's atmosphere  as a trace gas at a concentration of 0.039% by volume." The plants breath it in. WE EXHALE IT. We can never let the government get their hands on our right to produce this LIFE GIVING GAS, for that would mean them becoming our puppet masters!!!

WE ARE NOT PUPPETS. WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS. WE HAVE OUR OWN WILL. WE HAVE OUR OWN DESTINY. WE HAVE OUR OWN MINDS!!!

I wonder what Susan Davis thinks of when she watches this report and others like it. Does she get a warm fuzzy feeling when she thinks that these are the REBELS that she felt so compelled to assist? MASS GRAVES. Really?? I sincerely hope that she doesn't. But how could one be so naive as to not think this was going to happen. To think that we were supposed to STOP MASS GRAVES only to find ourselves on the side of those DIGGING THEM!!

Blacklisted and Banned and still WINNING! aka. EATING THE HAND THAT FEEDS

     In war it is the relentless that win. This is the X factor. To stay focused and steady. To outlast the will of your opponent. This is what wins wars. In the style wars of today it is they who are relentless in their defiance of limitations that WIN. Those who do not bite ,WIN.  Those who speak against these crimes of plagiary and arrested states of INTELLIGENCE are the ones that are WINNING.   To achieve virtue is to be WINNING. By showing a relentless pursuit for dialogue, debate and weirdness THE PHANTOM STREET ARTIST is winning for sure.

     From the get go THE PHANTOM STREET ARTIST has been one of the most OUTSPOKEN critics of the recent STREET ART show at MOCA and not without good reason.  There was obvious conflict of interest because of Dietch's/Gastman's portfolio interests.  BLU'S mural gettting buffed was a major indication that something wasn't right. Then there was the whole ELI BROAD-MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX/SOCIAL ENGINEERING aspect of the show. THE PHANTOM aka EL FATOM wrote multiple articles,reviews, interviews and preformed in a BUTOH dance party, in an effort to spark debate and shed light onto these TABOO topics. Touching upon all of these subjects with one sentence he says "Their attempt to survey a broad historical movement offers us a lens that is distorted through acts of censorship as well as by sophomoric omissions from both the exhibition’s timelines and its roster of artists. They attempt to fabricate fictitious histories of Graffiti’s true logos without conveying transparency and integrity, and all the while concealing conflicts of interest."

 
      Lucky for us EL FATOM HAS NOT STOPPED!! Over the last month he has had a show running in Portland titled BLACKLISTED AND BANNED. In it he is calling attention once again to the MOCA show and ,in my opinion has taken the dialogue to a whole nother level.

     In these continued efforts to expose the ills of this show, and most importantly the fraternization/wall street ideologies that were driving  the curatorial decisions which led to censorship and elitism THE PHANTOM STREET ARTIST has employed many techniques.  Putting on the hat of the poet he has recently dropped this POETIC jam entitled YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ART IS.       By not letting up on these important issues EL FATOM invokes a spirit of integrity. By employing new means of communication, via PAINT and POETRY, he reminds us that these issues of CENSORSHIP, MIND CONTROL, RACISM, SEXISM and ISISM are all to real to forget about. This APATHETIC forgetfulness has become instinct as we take on the role of a  LOBOTOMIZED MOB OF ZOMBIES robbed of THEIR TRUE HISTORY.  If allowed to operate on these levels of censorship and still be trusted as a source of artistic leadership, DIETCH and COMPANY could potentially rewrite/writeout anything/anyone that they do not feel jives with their agenda of PROFIT/PLEASURE.

    The Hambloggger Man thinks it to be PRETTY DAMN COOL that this show was thrown in PORTLAND. This show needs to be taken all over the country and world.  MOCA'S despicable actions of hatred towards PEACE, CONSCIOUSNESS and ART should be exposed and never forgotten about. The people involved should be held accountable and understood to be the enemies of FREE THINKING that they have positioned themselves to be. In this sense the theme behind BLACKLISTED and BANNED is immortal and will gain precedence as time goes on and the truth is revealed.  This story will undoubtedly be used to teach many generations to come.
